Ready at last! The season’s very first Night Ski Show and Night Skiing event takes place at the Gaislachkogl middle station on Wednesday, 04 January 2017. This ultimate ski show spectacle ranks among the undisputed highlights of Sölden’s weekly event calendar. New show program

Although the ski show performance of the previous years was quite spectacular, this season the Sölden/Hochsölden Ski School and the “Freaks on Snow” have created a completely new program. To tell a secret: speedy formation skiing plus led ski suits and pyro skis will be part of the program – let us surprise you!

About 35 professional ski and snowboard instructors participate in Sölden’s fabulous Night Ski Show, enchanting the audience from start to finish: light effects and sound systems create a unique open-air circus ring, crowded with ski acrobats and snowboard artists – similar to a (ski)circus under the starry sky. When? Every Wednesday at 8:00 pm.

Of course, such an unparalleled Ski Show is highly contagious – so grab your own skis and spend some superb nighttime skiing hours on the slope, provided that you are an ambitious winter sports fan. Or hit the night ski slope even before the spectacle starts.

The choice is all yours at the Night Ski Event! A marvelous, four kilometer long ski run equipped with top-class floodlights (piste no. 3, 3b, 10, 9) takes avid skiers down to the base station of Gaislachkogl Mountain Gondola I. Within almost no time you reach the middle station again – for the next thrilling downhill adventure.

“The wishing table” – Culinary treats

Skiing, snowboarding and riding makes hungry. Not only by day but also at night. The ultimate Night Ski Show makes also a place to be for rumbling stomachs. A huge choice of specialties and mouth-watering delights is served.

“The wishing table” stands for culinary excellence at the “Tiroler Stube” restaurant with table service, offering delightful menus and dishes. Tirolean dumpling soup served by the kitchen chef himself, followed by an exclusive and sometimes quite surprising selection of culinary treats. Please book your table in advance! No reservation is required at the “Almstube” self-service restaurant where a wide range of prime specialties are on the menu list.

Spend a memorable evening full of highlights and attractions at the Hot Spot in the Alps. One thing is already for sure: the acrobatic shows will take every skier’s and non-skier’s heart by storm!

Program:

• Every Wednesday from 04 January to 22 March 2017
• 5:30 pm – 8:45 pm: uphill ride, Gaislachkogl Mountain Gondola 1
• 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm: DJ “in-style” on the turntables
• From 8:00 pm: Night Ski Show
• Followed by fabulous musical fireworks
• From 6:30 pm: “The wishing table” at Tiroler Stube restaurant (reservations required!)
